MaiMoney and PlayMoolah Sign Strategic Partnership to Equip Young Vietnamese with Financial Resilience

HANOI, Vietnam – July 22, 2025 – Vietnamese fintech platform MaiMoney has entered into a strategic partnership with Singapore-based financial wellbeing company PlayMoolah, aiming to empower the next generation of Vietnamese with the tools, confidence, and mindset to build lasting wealth.

The agreement, formalised at MaiMoney’s headquarters in Hanoi, unites two purpose-driven organisations with a shared vision: to embed financial education into everyday life and democratize access to long-term investing for young people across Southeast Asia.

Since launching in 2024, MaiMoney has grown rapidly to serve many thousands of users, becoming one of Vietnam’s most promising fintech platforms for goal-based investing. By simplifying access to regulated investment products and empowering digital-first users, the platform has helped thousands take their first steps toward financial independence.

PlayMoolah, whose award-winning and evidence-based financial education programs have been featured in Forbes and adopted by institutions such as Asia’s top universities, Government Agencies and Global Financial Institutions, will provide curated learning content designed to foster emotional resilience and real-world financial literacy. MaiMoney will integrate this content into its fast-growing digital platform, enabling users to set financial goals and invest with confidence.

“This partnership is about more than just content – it’s about unlocking financial agency,” said Nhi Nguyen, CEO & Founder of MaiMoney. “We want to equip young people with the skills and self-trust to make smart, long-term financial decisions and act on them.”

The collaboration addresses a critical gap in Vietnam’s fast-growing digital economy: the absence of practical, behaviour-based financial learning for first-time investors. By delivering interactive, mindset-focused education within the investment experience, the two companies aim to help young Vietnamese move from financial uncertainty to confident action.

Users who complete the learning journey will receive certifications issued by the newly launched Wealth Resilience Institute (WRI), a partner company of PlayMoolah.

“We’ve seen how transformational financial education can be when it’s human, relevant, and actionable,” said Audrey Tan, CEO & Co-Founder of PlayMoolah. “Vietnam has incredible potential, and this partnership allows us to reimagine how financial wellbeing is delivered by meeting users where they are.”

Beyond content integration, MaiMoney and PlayMoolah intend to scale their collaboration through partnerships with universities, institutions, and corporations. Their shared goal is to build a generation of financially resilient students and professionals who not only understand how money works, but also know how to apply that knowledge through accessible investment tools.

“This collaboration lays the groundwork for deeper alignment between the fintech and education sectors in Vietnam and Singapore,” Tan added. “It not only supports the financial wellbeing of young people, but also enables cross-border innovation, knowledge exchange, and a more inclusive regional financial ecosystem.”
